Danny Ralph the founding Academic Director of the Cambridge Centre for Risk Studies, working with organisations in responding to systemic and emerging risks since 2009. The risk centre’s outputs include the Cambridge Taxonomy of Business Risks; the prize-winning Cambridge Taxonomy of Climate Transition Risks; an ever-increasing family of catastrophe scenarios that are used as business stress tests and available for download at risk centre publications; and the historical Lloyd’s City Risk Index and Lloyd’s Futureset scenarios which use the risk centre’s modelling IP. He is also a founder of Risilience, a spinout from the risk centre which provides sustainability risk analytics to organisations, from balance sheet impacts to strategic decisions.

Danny engages with leaders across sectors such as agriculture, apparel, fast-moving consumer goods, financial services, transportation and utilities. His technical expertise is in optimisation and economic equilibrium models. At Cambridge University he is Professor of Operations Research in Cambridge Judge Business School, also a member of faculty of the Engineering Department and Fellow of Churchill College.
