Deputy Director, Defence, Security and Justice, RAND Europe

Erik Silfversten leads the RAND Europe Centre for Futures and Foresight Studies and serves as deputy director of the Defence, Security and Justice research group. For more than a decade, he has helped governments, international organisations and industry navigate uncertainty by identifying emerging risks, spotting opportunities and harnessing technological change. His work has shaped policy and capability decisions for a wide range of public and private sector organisations such as the UK Ministry of Defence, the European Defence Agency, the European Commission and NATO.
