Hibbitt Professor of Solid Mechanics, Department of Engineering

Garth Wells is the Hibbitt Professor of Solid Mechanics in the Department of Engineering and a member of University Council. As a member of University Council he serves as a Trustee of the University. Garth is also seconded to UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) where he serves as Deputy Executive Chair of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
