Head of Nuclear Cooperation Agreements and Export Controls Teams, DESNZ and the Counter Proliferation & Arms Control Centre (CPACC)

Henry Booth is Head of the Nuclear Cooperation Agreements and Export Controls Teams for DESNZ and the Counter Proliferation & Arms Control Centre (CPACC). Prior to this Henry was Assistant Director Ukraine Coordination Team for BEIS and led the departmental strategic security initiative for the Integrated Review Refresh and the Energy Security Strategy. He served as the first Reservist diplomat as Assistant Defence Attaché at the British Embassy in Tokyo and Liaison Officer to the United Nations Command, 2019-2021. Henry has previously worked as a Senior Policy Advisor for COP26 and on European business engagement for Brexit. Before joining the Civil Service Henry held leadership roles in sales, buying, and manufacturing at his family business Booths Supermarkets. Henry is a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society, has a MA from the University of Aberdeen, and is a Captain in the Army Reserve. He is currently based in the British High Commission, New Delhi.
