Jialong Ying is the Landfill Gas Policy lead at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. In this role, he is responsible for leading DESNZ’s work in exploring potential options to support landfill gas generators.

Prior to this role, Jialong worked in the CfD Policy Team, leading on repowering policy, and was involved in the design of the Energy Bill Relief Scheme for non-standard cases (license-exempt suppliers).
