Jonathan Marron CB is the Chief Transition Officer at the NHS Business Services Authority responsible for leading the NHS BSA through the current changes to the leadership and organisation of health and care system.

Jonathan has a wealth of experience in health and government, for the last 7 years as a Director General in the Department of Health and Social Care, with responsibilities across that time for primary care, mental health, prevention, community services, the Office for Health Improvement and the response to COVID-19. His previous experience includes various roles in DHSC, Public Health England, Monitor (The Independent Regulator of NHS Foundation Trusts) and in the NHS as a Director in a NHS Primary Care Trust.
