Kerry Sheehan is Principal AI Policy and Innovation Lead at Ofgem, where she leads developments in AI regulation across the GB energy sector. Her portfolio spans regulatory AI assurance, monitoring and enforcement, governance of autonomous and agentic AI systems across sectoral boundaries, the oversight of Third-Party Intermediaries (TPIs), and the implications of quantum technologies for AI-enabled energy systems.

An award-winning leader recognised in the global top 100 Women in AI Ethics, she has advised on national AI strategies and global standards, including at the Alan Turing Institute and the British Standards Institute. Through the CSaP Fellowship, she will build on, and be bolder with, this work, strengthening the theoretical, technical and ethical foundations for next-generation regulation and creating mutual value with academics by sharing early insight into upcoming policy windows across AI, quantum and digital energy markets.
