Head of the National Situation Centre at Cabinet Office
Laurie Thraves is the Head of the Cabinet Office's National Situation Centre. Laurie has worked in a range of domestic and national security analysis, policy and operational roles. He has also worked for public service think tanks, national charities and a technology start-up. He was educated at St. Hugh's College, Oxford, SOAS, the University of Kuwait and the British Institute in East Africa.
