Meg’s work spans cross-disciplinary topics including pandemic preparedness, health systems and the built environment, with a particular interest in systems thinking. Across these areas, she designs, delivers and contributes to policy engagement activities, supporting researchers to plan how to engage with policy and working with policy makers to develop workshops and connect with relevant research and expertise.

Before joining CSaP, Meg completed a PhD in Experimental Physics at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, where she researched optical methods for monitoring changes in lithium batteries. She was affiliated with the Faraday Institution and the Winton Programme for the Physics of Sustainability. She first worked with CSaP as a PhD Policy Intern in 2022, supporting the Cambridge Zero Policy Forum, and has also worked on sustainability initiatives at Darwin College.

Meg will next undertake a secondment with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), working within its Systems Research Programme.
