Sandra Dawson, Professor Emerita of Management Studies & former Dean (1995-2006), Cambridge Judge Business School; Fellow & former Master (1999-2009), Sidney Sussex College (where she was the first woman to be head of a Cambridge college founded for men), one of the University of Cambridge's former Deputy Vice-Chancellors (2008-2012).

She has wide experience of many organisations through research on leadership, management and governance, and service as a Non-Executive Director and Chair on boards of listed and private companies, mainly in finance, banking and technology sectors, including Barclays Bank, DRS plc, TSB, Winton Capital; public bodies, including the Financial Services Authority and Riverside Mental Health Trust; and charities including Oxfam and the Institute for Government. She was a member of the UK’s Prime Minister's Council on Science and Technology, the UK-India Round Table, and a trustee of the Social Science Research Council USA & the American University of Sharjah. She served as an independent adviser to the Windrush Lessons Learned Review (2018-2020) and in 2024 was an expert witness of governance, leadership and management for the UK Inquiry into the Post Office Horizon Inquiry.
