Teresa Soter is the Head of Strategy and Policy for the National Data at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. She has a particular interest in innovation and public participation in policy-making.

Prior to joining the civil service, she worked at the Institute for Government researching public finances and at the European Commission’s Directorate for Research & Innovation.

She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
